GDPR Updates

As the result of Brexit and with effect from the 1st Jan 2021, the UK stopped being part of the EU and hence the “EU-GDPR” ceased to protect the rights and freedoms of UK Citizens regarding their Personal Information.

To prevent this becoming the case, the UK Government published an update to the Data Protection Act 2018 called the ‘Data Protection, Privacy and Electronic Communication'.

This update outlined the changes and amendments made for post Brexit GDPR in the United Kingdom.
